Actually the view is of M52TU, NOT M52 but the hose prevents the sensor from backing out the hole on the M52.
Once I removed the PCV hose connection, VANOS solenoid and subject hose and the oil filter cover, got the challenge of a lifetime!!
Trying to cut the TY-wrap holding the sensor cable……..see below........
One hand snaked under the intake to push the connector release spring and pull the vice grip with the other hand, after trying various ways to pull this off including using a coat hanger make shift hook but finally the vice grip saved the day.
